The
loveliest patterns need large areas of flowing fabric to come into their
own. The one simple product that seems to work every time is a simple
cotton skirt.
It take a lot of fabric to make any item of apparel, and this skirt wants at least 2 full metres. It features the pattern in full size, trimmed with a frill using the same pattern scaled down. Featured
on these pages are a couple of our early experiments along with their
accompanying fabric samplers in the role of matching scarf. |
